To
a builder of homes, there is no greater satisfaction than filling
the needs and wishes of each individual client while, at the same
time, creating neighborhoods that are a source of pride to the communities
in which they are located. Gavurnik Builders Limited Partnership
has always prided itself on its uncompromising commitment to building
homes that complement the diverse lifestyles of today's sophisticated
buyer while enriching the communities that its customers proudly
call home for years to come.
John Gavurnik
brings to his role as president of Gavurnik Builders over forty
years construction experience. The first decade was spent as a project
manager, production manager, and director of construction for Kennedy
Brothers, a prominent Chicago-area home builder based in Arlington
Heights, Ill, He then joined Nash-Phillips Copus, Inc. of Austin,
Texas, and gained additional experience across a span of 7 years
as vice president of multifamily construction.
From
1985 to 1988, Gavurnik developed single and multifamily residential
and retail projects in Central Texas, and then he joined the C.P.
Morgan Company of Indianapolis as vice president of construction,
where he supervised the development of more than 1,100 single-family
homes and townhomes, from 1988 to 1992. Since mid 1992, over 700
homes have been constructed, including single-family, duplexes,
multifamily, and office condominiums.
William
W. "Bill" Kennedy is cofounder of the Chicago area Kennedy
Homes - originally Kennedy Brothers - and is credited with providing
the vision and energy that propelled his company into becoming Chicago
area's largest independent customized home
builder.
Within
a year of establishing his company with his brother Robert, in 1969,
he assumed a leadership role in the Chicago building community,
leading ultimately to being named the first president of the Homebuilders
Association of Greater Chicago, and a life director of the National
Association of Homebuilders. Kennedy Homes has developed some 10,000
residences in more than 70 high quality communities that have delighted
generations of home buyers in metropolitan Chicago, Florida, and
California, as well as successful office and commercial properties.
